Okay, so One Direction isn’t the first male musical act to release a line of nail polishes—Justin Bieber did it a few years ago—but they might just be the first male musical act to team up with an office supply store on said nail polish.
Come again?
Yep: The floppy-haired British boys of One Direction—Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson—have joined forces with Office Depot on a special set of back-to-school supplies that for some reason includes five brightly colored nail polish shades named for each of the group’s members. We’re not totally sure when nail polish became an essential school supply, but whatever—at least it’s for a good cause.

You see, the 1D x OD collab is an anti-bullying campaign, with a portion of the proceeds from each sale going towards funding the “1D + OD Together Against Bullying” alliance. That, at least, is something we can get behind. So, y’know, now you can adoring clutch your blue Harry Styles notebook to your chest with your blue Harry Styles nails and know that you’re doing it for a good reason.
The school supply set will hit Office Depot when the back-to-school season kicks up; if that’s not soon enough for you, though, you can extend your 1D fandom to your teeth right this very second with their Colgate toothbrush and toothpaste.
